Ninh Binh is surrounded with many places of interest well known in Vietnam and overseas such as Tam Coc, Bich Dong, Cuc Phuong National Park, Trang An Grottoes and Van Long Nature Reserve. There are also many historical relics, for instances Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Bich Dong Pagoda, Thai Vi Temple, Phat Diem Stone Cathedral, Tam Diep Defense Line, etc. This tour is designed with "open options" for people who desire to enjoy both beautiful natural scenery and an interesting cultural experience.

Option 1:  Day Trip

AM : 7h30-8h15 : New Horizon Travel's driver and tourguide pick you up from your hotel. Then we take a 2 hour drive to Ninh Binh. Enjoy the daily life of Vietnamese people in the countryside on the way.
10h30 : Arrive at Hoalu - the Ancient Capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1009, we take a visit to see two old temples worshipping two famous kings: King Dinh and King Le who chose Hoalu to be the Capital of Vietnam. Standing at the place where used tobe the Royal Palace, we will understand more about an important historical period of Vietnam with many values of culture and history .
 
After Hoalu , keep enjoying fantastic landscapes on the way to Tam Coc. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant in Tam Coc.
After lunch ,we take a relaxing boat trip along the gentle Ngo Dong river between paddy fields and through 3 caves ,  enjoy the beauty of Tam Coc.
15h : Finish the boat trip, we take a bycicle tour around the village to explore more about Vietnamese countryside life.
16h : Get on bus back to Hanoi.Tour ends at around 6h30 at your hotel.

Day 1: Hoa lu – Tam coc ( Lunch )
You have the same program with the others during the day. The 1st day tour ends, you check in hotel in Tam Coc. Free yourself. Late afternoon, if you want, you can follow our local guide to the river for fishing and have interesting experiences.Your own dinner or you can join dinner with hotel family. O/N in hotel in Tam Coc ( 2 star hotel)
 
Day 2: Biking Tour ( Breakfast / Lunch )
Biking distance: 28 km.

AM: You wake up and enjoy fresh air in a peaceful morning. Breakfast will be served in your hotel, check out hotel and leave your luggages at hotel store. Then ready to start our special biking tour from hotel. On this tour, you will have unforgettable time with really interesting experiences. On small village roads ,our local guide will be your sides and show you many villages in the area with friendly villagers , you will be really closer to a real Vietnam. You also have a good opportunity to visit Bai Dinh Pagoda – the most famous pagoda in the area , the biggest one in Vietnam with many unique records. Lunch is served in a local restaurant.
PM : After lunch, we continue biking to see more beatiful landscapes and villages then back to Tam Coc at around 3pm, take a short rest before being picked up by our bus back to Hanoi. Tour ends at your hotel at around 6:30 pm.
 
Option 3: Visit Cuc Phuong National Park by car / van.

Cuc Phuong National Park is one of Vietnam’s most beautiful and important protected areas and easily accessible from Hanoi - only a 2 ½ hour journey by road. The ancient forest contains almost 2000 species of trees and amongst them lives some amazing and rare animals including the Clouded leopard, Delacour’s Langur, Owston’s Civet, Otters and Asian Black Bears!
A part from Hoa Lu – Tam Coc tour, a tour to Cuc Phuong National Park is also a good choice. Come with us to have new experiences.
 
Day 1 : Hoa Lu – Tam Coc - joining tour ( Lunch. O/N in Tam Coc )
You take the same Hoa Lu - Tam Coc joining tour with the others. Then your overnight stay is in the Hotel in Tam Coc ( 2 star hotel )
 
Day 2 :Tam Coc - Cuc Phuong National Park - Hanoi - private tour( Breakfast, Lunch )
- Ater breakfast, you check out hotel, your lugguages can be left in the hotel lugguage store. Then depart from the hotel to Cuc Phuong National Park with your tour guide and driver.(45km)
- Arrive at the National ,we will firstly visit the Turtle Conservation area and Endangered Primate Rescue Centre which is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation, breeding, research, and conservation of endangered primates, and to the protection of their habitats.
- Then keep going into the park central, stop to explore the Prehistoric Man Cave before having lunch in the park central.
- Taking a short trek into the National Park for sightseeing and learn more about fauna and flora in this oldest forest of Vietnam. Back to the Park Centre, then taking Car/ Van back to Tam Coc.
3 PM : Return to Tam Coc. Have a short rest before taking our shuttle bus back to Hanoi.
6.30 PM : Drop you off at your hotel. Tour ends.
